"La Compagnia dell'Aquila Bianca" (translated "The Fellowship of the White Eagle") was founded in 2008 with the aim of promoting fencing and Medieval and Renaissance mounted combat, the real martial arts of the West. The group's main goal is to promote jousting as a real sport with all the rules and safety regulations of any other modern sport. "La Compagnia dell'Aquila Bianca" operates throughout Italy participating in national and international tournaments. They have main offices in both Florence and Prato, however, "La Sede della Cavalleria" (the jousting unit) is always in Prato S. Loc Ippolito at the Equestrian Center Sunrise Horse Riding.

Foundation Historisch Educatief Initiatief (Historical Educational Initiative; HEI) researches different aspects of the daily life of people living in different periods in history Among the members of the board there are an archeologist, a historical geographer and a soon to be historian.
The goal of the research done by HEI is not to publish it in books. Instead the foundation aims to share this knowledge with people in a interactive and pleasant way by means of lively and educational shows and demonstrations.
By portraying people from the past they bring history back to life. Authenticity of the historical clothing, accessories and facts used with these activities is of the utmost importance with HEI. This choice for quality over quantity has led to the foundation portraying the Roman era up to the late Middle Ages but not any later. Within this still large timeframe HEI has decided to specialize in the late fifteenth century, but does not exclude other periods.

Description:
Torneamentum was founded in 1987. Members of Torneamentum have been very successful both as individuals and as a team for a number of years in the Swedish national jousting championship, Rikstornering. They have also competed in Norway, Finland, Germany and Denmark, and have made various appearances on tv. The Society's goals are to provide training and education to improve individual member's abilities in historically correct equestrian combat techniques, and through competitions and demonstrations to spread knowledge and understanding of jousting and medieval knightly traditions. The troupes main objective is to recreate 13th and 14th century jousting as accurately as possible.

In addition to being the two times World Champion Jousting Team, they are also a performance troupe. "Such is the authenticity of costumes and weapons, the BBC have used The Knights of Nottingham for their schools’ programmes on medieval history."
