Joust For Fun: Tilting at Onion Rings

I think the creators of the “Wizard of Id” have been reading Facebook posts. On January 11, 2013, the following post appeared in a discussion of what hors d'oeuvres should be served at a jousting demonstration.

FBname: Depending on how silly you're willing to be and how the food is being served, you could have "Tilting at Onion Rings". If food is served buffet style, have a line of onion rings on holders going the length of the buffet table. Have a stack of skewers shaped like lances at one end. Give skewer to patron and tell patron to "canter" the length of the buffet trying to catch as many onion rings as they can.

Of course you would have to have servers re-setting the "course" between each patron.
